How Haimoo Analytics works
The Haimoo Analytics measurement flow starts with a tracker that sends an event to the collection endpoint. The dashboard brings stored analytics events together for reporting.
1. Collection
The tracker sends a pageview and available context.
The default event is a pageview. An event can include the page path, referrer, UTM parameters and a browser-session identifier.
2. Coarse classification
Useful analytics categories are derived from the request.
The collection endpoint can derive coarse location plus browser, operating-system and device-type categories. The full User-Agent string is not stored in analytics event records.
3. Reporting
Examine events through pages, sources and goals.
The dashboard can examine pageviews, source types, campaigns, pages and goals. Detected bot traffic is kept separate from human visitor events.
