Privacy in Haimoo Analytics
Product privacy starts by distinguishing what a request processes transiently from what is stored in analytics events.
IP address
The IP address is processed, but a raw IP address is not stored in events.
The collection endpoint processes the request IP transiently for functions such as rate limiting, coarse location derivation and visitor estimation. Event and BotEvent records have no raw IP field.
Visitor estimation
The identifier is site-specific and changes daily.
Unique-visitor estimation uses a site-specific pseudonymous identifier whose input includes the UTC date. It is not designed as a persistent multi-day visitor profile.
Boundary
Product technical facts are not a legal conclusion about an entire website.
Haimoo Analytics being free of analytics cookies does not by itself define the other technologies used on a website or the obligations that apply to them. Consult legal documents separately when their facts are current.
